| Street-level walls of windows provide a wonderful view of horse-drawn carriages clopping by and the hustle of the city. The bar also is a room with a view and a good place to have dinner when the dining room is full. Appetizers such as the brick oven-fired cheese fondue or chorizo with caramelized onions and roasted Yukon gold potatoes are sized for sharing. The oven-roasted halibut with salsa verde and stewed potatoes and vegetables is an entrée winner visit after visit, which makes it difficult to try something new. Those with lighter appetites can be comfortable ordering the signature chop-chop salad, one of the brick oven-baked pizzas or the lobster ravioli with scallops and a hint of tarragon. For feel good comfort food, we suggest the chicken piccata with fingerling potatoes and fresh green beans. Add an after dinner martini before calling it an evening. |
