Paragon Restaurant Restaurant Review: The moderately priced Paragon Restaurant, near SBC Park, is a classy venue whether you are going to a game or not. It's an American brasserie with a lively bar, and features the cooking of chef Spencer O'Meara. Anything on the approachable menu is sure to please, from the roasted chicken cloaked in thyme jus paraded out with a hearty side of macaroni and cheese to the juicy double-cut pork chop resting on a mushroom risotto. Either the fritto misto or Caesar is a good starter. A unique mocha pot de crème is a welcome relief from the ubiquitous chocolate pots de crèmes served around town. Live jazz on Friday and Saturday nights makes Paragon a festive date spot. |
