The Pasta House Co. Restaurant Review: We weren’t all lucky enough to grow up with an Italian grandmother like Nonna Tucci, making her legendary meatballs and encouraging us to have one more serving at Sunday dinner. But The Pasta House Co. makes us feel like one of the family. Toasted ravioli and cheesy garlic bread prepare palates for standard Italian dishes like lasagna, minestrone, spaghetti and pork chops. Entrées are accompanied by the Special Salad, a deliberately overdressed bowl of romaine. Wines and cocktails are basic at best, but the multi-generational customers don’t mind --- their focus is the comfort food the Tucci family has been serving at this local chain for more than 40 years. Those who can find room typically end the meal with the signature cheesecake. Nonna would approve.
