Pasta Pasta Restaurant Review: This Port Jeff village restaurant offers much more innovative cuisine than its name would lead you to believe, with brick-oven pizzas, adventurous appetizers and surprising entrées. Starters include pan-seared scallops with Parmesan risotto and orange ginger sauce as well as a grilled filet mignon quesadilla with caramelized onions and roasted corn. The wide selection of brick-oven pizzas includes a Greek salad pizza on a hot seeded crust as well as a buffalo chicken pizza with andouille sausage and blue cheese. Meat lovers will not be disappointed: filet mignon served over crisp gnocchi, steak frites with seasoned fries, and surf 'n' turf are just some of the options. And of course, the namesake pastas are nothing to look down your nose at: black ravioli stuffed with lobster; penne with shrimp, scallops and andouille; and penne with crab, shrimp, artichokes and a creamy red pepper sauce are just some of the options on the main menu. A gluten-free menu ensures everyone will find something they like. For dessert, look no further than the classic tiramisu, the Dark Chocolate Bag filled with white chocolate mousse and berries, or the fried ice cream sundae. The wine list features a combination of local and international wines, with a focus on the best Long Island reds, whites and rosés.
