Pasta Pasta Restaurant Review: This Port Jeff village restaurant offers much more innovative cuisine than its name would lead you to believe, with brick-oven pizzas, adventurous appetizers and surprising entrées. Start with bacon-wrapped shrimp served with pepperoncini dipping sauce before segueing to the rigatoni alla vodka with prosciutto, plum tomatoes and scallions in a pink vodka cream sauce. The wide selection of brick-oven pizzas includes a seafood pie, which features a combination of tender lobster, crab meat and calamari with a slightly spicy tomato sauce and pesto under melted cheese. Meat lovers will not be disappointed: filet mignon served over crisp gnocchi, steak frites with seasoned fries, and surf ‘n’ turf are just some of the options. For dessert, look no further than the classic tiramisu, the Dark Chocolate Bag filled with white chocolate mousse and berries, or the fried ice cream sundae. The wine list features a combination of local and international wines, with a focus on the best Long Island reds, whites and rosés. |
