THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Pattaya Seafood Restaurant Restaurant Review: Minimally decorated, this simple restaurant presents a wide array of seafood dishes worth investigating for their intriguing flavors and classic Thai seasonings. Skip the usual coconut chicken soup and go for the more interesting hot-and-sour soup with shrimp, mushrooms and spices. A medley of shellfish is marinated with lemon grass, lime juice, chili and cilantro. Spicy seafood hotpots are garnished with chili, ginger and lime juice. The almond trout is good but pass on the heavily floured soft-shell crab. Non-fish dishes include steamed Thai basil roll with plum dipping sauce, and vegetarians will find many options. Be sure to listen to the specials. The wine list is just so-so, but at least there’s a Gewürtztraminer (Sutter Home). Otherwise, stick with one of the beers.
