Patxi’s Chicago Pizza Restaurant Review:

Patxi's offers four styles of pizza. The extra-thin crust has a crisp crunch of cornmeal, a delicate crackle and just enough body to carry any of a number of ingredients. Pan pizzas and the signature, Chicago-style "stuffed" pies are thick, deep-dish offerings covered with gooey mozzarella and tomato sauce. Thin, thick or stuffed, or with a regular classic crust, you can heap on, or stuff in, a range of 35 toppings from Zoe's Natural Meats to a multitude of fresh vegetables. Don't expect much beyond pizza, though. Salad offerings are slim and there's no dessert. And don't go in a hurry. Along with wait times for a table (which on weekends can be significant), pies take between 20 and 40 minutes depending on thickness. Choices of slices are available each day which can hit your table in ten minutes or less. Vegan and gluten-free options abound. Try the lunch special: a slice, a salad and a drink for $10.
