| Sometimes new isn’t always better. That’s the case with Paulette’s, one of the last remaining Continental restaurants in Memphis. The French country feel (fresh flowers, dim lighting, wood beams) gives this Midtown restaurant a romantic ambience reminiscent of an earlier time. The menu focuses on classic European dishes such as Sicilian chicken and the richly sauced filet Paulette. The popovers and desserts are justly well known. The wine list, too, recalls the old Continental restaurants. Stop in for brunch and try the eggs Oscar, two poached eggs topped with hollandaise sauce and jumbo lump crab meat. |
