THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Pavillion Bar & Grill Restaurant Review:

The Pavillion dining room is an open, airy space surrounding a rock pool, fountain and handsome bamboo plantings. The space flows easily between inside and outside, to gardens just beyond the restaurant’s windows. Of course just beyond those touches of nature is a parking lot, so all is not completely serene in this slightly corporate setting. But the cooking makes a trip out from the city worthwhile. There has always been something adventuresome about the kitchen. The restaurant has set up strong relations with the area’s numerous organic growers, and the produce is always seasonally appropriate and fresh. Expect solid preparations, including nice treatments of favorites: salmon with roasted shallot vinaigrette or a rich wild mushroom ravioli. The service is unremittingly gracious.
