 Pearl Street Brewery Restaurant Review: The spacious interior and molded steel pillars of the Pearl Street Brewery recall a SoHo loft where yards of exposed belts thread across the ceiling to turn vintage fans. Three elevated outdoor patios allow an enjoyable dining experience during the warmer months. Personality and location (near the baseball stadium and arena) have combined with first-rate microbrews and a varied menu to help Pearl Street thrive. Start with the pesto-crusted salmon served over mixed greens with red onions and cucumbers. We also recommend the beer-braised kielbasa and the Creole chicken, a Cajun-spiced treat with andouille sausage sautéed with tomatoes, onions and spinach in Creole sauce. The menu also accommodates fans of beer and pizza and offers several pasta dishes. However, if you are in the mood for even simpler fare, try the pub food, such as the chicken wings and the “loaded” french fries, mammoth and generously topped with bacon. This place is a must for visitors to Buffalo looking for a bite to eat before an event at HSBC Arena or Coca-Cola Field---both are within walking distance. |
