Pellicci's Restaurant Review: Pellicci's is a family-owned local favorite, founded in 1947. Forget the lackluster and generic décor --- worn wooden chairs and tables with red-and-white tablecloths --- and your other senses will soon be rewarded. Generous portions of flavorful pastas, pizzas like The Venezia and The Setterfrate that arrive piping hot and heaped with toppings as well as meat specialties are the tradition here. The hot antipasto starter includes classic selections of eggplant rollatini, clams oreganato, crab-stuffed mushrooms, crab-stuffed shrimp, mussels and fried calamari, a fine precursor to the array of fresh seafood entrées. For a family gathering, go for the Pellicci's "family style" dinner with its baked chicken, ziti with ricotta, sausage, peppers and onions, tossed salad and pepper salad, for an all-in-one multi-course meal.
