Pellicci's Restaurant Review: Pellicci's is a family-owned local favorite, founded in 1947. Forget the lackluster and generic décor --- wooden chairs and red-and-white tablecloths --- and your other senses will soon be rewarded. Starters include shrimp stuffed with crab meat and spinach wrapped with prosciutto and topped with mozzarella. Fresh seafood entrées feature scungilli over pasta with marinara, fra Diavolo for a spicy kick, or “alia e olio” for those wishing to preserve the natural flavors of the conch. Pizzas range from The Amalfi, a combination of rock shrimp, clams, bacon, garlic, basil, parsley and a touch of red pepper, to II Bianco with ricotta, Parmigiana and mozzarella. Or choose The Special Family Style Dinner consisting of garden salad, roasted pepper and fresh mozzarella salad, veal Parmigiana, shrimp Francais, chicken Marsala, fettuccine Alfredo, penne con vodka sauce and bread, as well as coffee.
