THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Penang Restaurant Review:
Penang is a chain, but don't let that get you down. This is as good as you will find when it comes to Malaysian cuisine. The menu is a textbook read of exotic dishes. When was the last time you had stir-fried pork intestines with salted vegetables in garlic sauce? Or Buddhist yam pot? Or sambal sotong (sautéed squid in a spicy shrimp paste)? You’ll also find items like lobster with ginger and scallions, crispy duck and mango chicken. After your meal, head upstairs to Red-I, a lipstick-red karaoke lounge with private booths for crooners and cheap drinks.
