A few years ago, a branch of Perry's, one of the first singles bars in the Marina, opened downtown. This way, Perry's lovers can have lunch at their favorite haunt downtown and cocktails and dinner in Cow Hollow. Downtown Perry's has a good hamburger, sturdy steaks and lighter fare like grilled fish. Entrée-size salads star at lunch, along with daily Blue Plate specials like fried chicken, fish 'n' chips and a nice prime rib sandwich. But the real draw is Wednesday and Saturday night Lobster Madness---a one-and-a-quarter pound Maine lobster with traditional accompaniments for $18.95, served from 5 p.m. until they're gone.
