Peterson's Restaurant Review: This upscale suburban steak and seafood house sports high-backed booths, stained glass room dividers, muted lighting from wall sconces and huge flower arrangements, lending an intimate vibe and a hint at what’s to come. Start with the tuna tartare with a wasabi emulsion and sweet soy syrup, and continue with the red beet salad with candied walnuts and goat cheese. Known for its corn-fed Prime beef, Peterson's offers a filet, petite or double, and braised greens seasoned with locally-sourced bacon. Your favorite wine is probably available from the well-stocked wine cellar. Or perhaps ask for a suggestion; knowledgeable servers will find the right pairing, whether it’s for the entrée or a slice of six-layer German chocolate torte. When making reservations, be advised that the restaurant only serves those 21 and older.
