Pete's Sunset Grille Restaurant Review: Located within Huntington Beach’s posh Hyatt Regency and on the former site of famed Mallory Surf Board Factory, Pete’s Sunset Grille faces stiff competition from other local restaurants, but it's got a few things going for it. Fortunately, the interior’s tropical décor full of surf memorabilia gives off an airy island vibe, which is perfectly suited to its “Surf City, USA” locale. Outside on the patio, ocean breezes waft gently by as guests enjoy refreshing cocktails and Cal-Mex cuisine with Pacific Rim accents. Many come here to enjoy a half-pound burger or the slow-roasted pulled pork sandwich swimming in tangy smoked barbecue sauce. Not interested in the usual hotel weekend brunch, which can be pretty stodgy? Relax with a super-spicy and bottomless Bloody Mary every Sunday when brunch is offered in summer, along with light and casual buffet items.
