Phil’s BBQ Restaurant Review: Patrons wait patiently in line for Phil Pace’s barbecue, knowing that his mesquite-grilled baby-back and beef ribs, barbecue chicken and heaping sandwiches are close at hand. Try the “Broham” sandwich --- tender shredded pork with Phil's sauce served on a thick bun and topped with creamy coleslaw. Order up some baked beans, beer-battered onion rings and hand-cut fries and you will be in hog heaven. This spacious location holds more than 200 people, and sister outposts can be found in San Marcos and Santee. |
