THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Phnom Penh Restaurant Review:
Based on the look of the place, you probably wouldn't expect Phnom Penh to serve first-rate cuisine --- but it does. Tiny, with only 42 seats, the restaurant is located in a freestanding storefront space in Ohio City that is as plain as can be inside and out. The digs don’t matter, though; people come here for the Cambodian food. The menu is divided into sections, based mainly on types of noodles: rice, potato, round, flat and so on. Most dishes come with beef, pork, chicken or shrimp, plus a fascinating combination of Cambodian spices, herbs, vegetables and ingredients like coconut milk or chopped spring rolls. Portions are huge, and prices are low. No alcohol is served, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
