Pho Grand Restaurant Review: The Trinh family launched this restaurant offering pho (rice noodle soup) more than 25 years ago. Also notable are the other traditional soups: hu tien (clear noodle) and mi (egg noodle). Seafood, mostly in the form of curries and sautés, and vegetarian selections are extensive. Check out the “campfire pot,” where patrons share the meal of meat, vegetables and noodles when dining with a group. From the spring and summer rolls to the vermicelli noodle dishes, everything is fresh and flavorful. There are American soft drinks and beers on the menu, but we suggest opting for the Vietnamese beer or a refreshing beverage made with longan fruit. For dessert, the coconut ice cream is satisfyingly sweet.
