Pho Grand Restaurant Review: When the Trinh family started Pho Grand 20 years ago, families would trek from all over the metro area for a bowl of its pho. It’s easier to find pho now, but regulars know the food is a good value, from the perennial favorite spring and summer rolls to the first-rate soups, vermicelli noodle dishes and banh cuon, rice flour crêpes filled with mushroom and ground pork topped with barbecued pork and cucumber. Seafood and vegetarian selections are extensive. Check out the “campfire pot,” where patrons share the meal of meat, vegetables and noodles when dining with a group. There are American soft drinks and beers on the menu, but we suggest opting for the rare Vietnamese beer or a refreshing beverage made with longan fruit.
