Pint + Jigger Restaurant Review: Pint + Jigger gastropub is run by Dave Newman, former bar manager of Nobu Waikiki; executive chef Noah Blair, previously at BLT Steak Waikiki; and beer consultant Jonathan Schwalbenitz, a veteran of Murphy’s Bar & Grill. Patrons come here to enjoy the local, seasonal and craft beers on tap and --- thanks to Newman's extensive work as a mixologist --- unique, handcrafted cocktails. The food is a little on the expensive side so happy hour has appeal (4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.). The double-cut bacon, pork sausage sliders, and fries get high marks; the Scotch egg, while popular, is not for the value-minded. |
