Pomelo's second location has taken over the beloved vegetarian Valentine's deep in Noe Valley. But, the loyal following need not worry, this Pomelo location offers a weekend vegetarian brunch that even includes a tofu scramble loaded with spinach, mushrooms, red onions and roasted bell peppers named Valentine's. Other brunch choices follow the destinations format of the global menu. The South Beach egg or tofu scramble is filled with tomatoes, chilies and a spicy cumin protein crumble. Chilled buckwheat noodles with marinated cucumbers and fresh cilantro has an addictive tangy soy-ginger-sesame dressing. Sri Lankan-style chicken curry, fragrant with basil and red chilies, looks beautiful with a shower of fresh coconut shavings. The delightful lanzhou matches fresh egg noodles with zesty ginger and rare slices of peppered ahi.
