Poppycock’s Restaurant Review: Here’s where the champions have breakfast before hitting the mountain-bike trails. The kitcheny , no nonsense atmosphere, with the morning papers available at the door and a real food menu, makes Poppycock’s a perennial. We let ourselves enjoy a big stack of the oatmeal-buttermilk or macadamia nut pancakes, spinach crêpes, Grand Marnier french toast because we know we’re going to get out there and work it off. Sometimes we take the turkado (turkey and avocado) sandwich to go into our backpack. Open ’til 2 in the afternoon every day.
