Pork Barrel BBQ Restaurant Review: It’s no surprise that all sorts of folks crowd in around the tables and bar at mealtimes. This homey, smoky place is so casual that you’ll want to roll up your shirt sleeves and dig into a pile of ribs and fries with a side of slaw. Yes, you can find pulled pork and sliced brisket and even barbecue chicken, but nothing can quite match the juicy ribs, spiced with rub and your choice of barbecue sauce. You can go for the ribs alone, or to mix it up a bit, try out one of the combos: chicken, ribs and sausage; brisket, ribs and sausage; or a pulled pork sandwich with some ribs. Although the bar features assorted beers, sodas and wines, you cannot satisfy your sweet tooth here, as there are no desserts.
