This perennial favorite has taken on a Euro-Asian flavor under executive chef Khamtan "Kham" Tanhchaleun's direction with a menu featuring dishes such as braised veal shanks and an array of curries. Tanhchaleun does a good job of balancing complex Asian flavors with continental style. The treetop, ocean and sunset views add an expansive feel to this comfortable and serene space with low ceilings and a sedate décor. Although it has a good share of the daily tourist traffic, it’s one of the island's “go-to” spots for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. Locals gather with generations in tow and book early to be assured the best tables. |
