THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Q BBQ & Tequila Restaurant Review: After a 26-year run with Philadelphia Fish & Co., owners Kevin and Janet Meeker decided to swap fish for pulled pork and ribs, transforming their Old City seafooder into Q BBQ & Tequila. The concept is comfort food at comfortable prices, with more than sixty tequilas at the bar. Chef/partner Tom Stewart, who hails from Jersey but has family ties in North Carolina, uses house-made rubs and sauces to conjure all manner of down-home treats. We like the regional rib combo---half a rack dry-rubbed, the other slathered with Carolina sauce. Add mac ‘n’ cheese and cheddar grits and you're good to go. A menu of "Mexican street food"---tacos, burritos, quesadillas---adds south of the border to the mix.
