RA Sushi Bar Restaurant Restaurant Review: On any given night, the patio at RA will be filled with hip, young diners enjoying the many sushi choices and clever cocktails. Located in the chic La Encantada shopping mecca, RA rocks with everything from a creamy edamame/spinach dip with warm wonton chips to the house lollipops of tuna, shrimp, yellowtail, spicy shrimp and vegetables wrapped in lobok (a white radish.) We also like the Asian tacos with their crispy rice paper shells. Meat options abound; try the black pepper teriyaki chicken wings. Renowned for its happy hour, the saké list is well-rounded, the cocktails are creative and the California-heavy wine list offers other worldly wines as well. Desserts are few, but a favorite is the sweet mochi trio. Heads up: RA gets pretty lively and loud, but we sort of like that. |
