Red & Green Brazilian Steakhouse Restaurant Review: This comfortable churrascaria and private party facility offers a salad bar with fairly pedestrian dishes, except for the collard greens, a chiffonade tangle of stir-fried slightly spicy greens served at room temperature. They alone are worth the price of admission, especially if all you want is the salad bar. You will be asked how well you want your meat cooked. Choose rare, and you'll be presented meat that meets that criterion. At many of these establishments, chicken is dry, but not at this one. Only the pork loin, we felt, would have been better if slightly less cooked. At dinner, additional meats include filet mignon and leg of lamb. For dessert, choose a Brazilian flan. The wine list is serviceable, offering Miolo, a major Brazilian brand, but information omissions abound. The "Red" indicated as an Italian wine actually is from Spain, for instance. Special pricing for children makes Red & Green appealing for families. |
