THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Reds Restaurant Review: The gilt bar, hung with paintings of Renoir-esque women, looks almost Belle Epoque. The restaurant manages to project a casual image in sophisticated surroundings. It is owned by a husband and wife team, and the husband, Joseph Napoli, is the chef. He cooks food that is eclectic and tasty---chili grilled squid with pineapple-papaya salsa, or a diva Caesar salad with grilled shrimp, crabcakes with spinach and goat cheese, or balsamic glazed chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. Vegetarians note: a stew of exotic and domestic mushrooms over brown rice. Perhaps, the Napolis will tell you their love story over coffee.
