This sleek, neutral-toned Lettuce Entertain You seafooder faces plenty of stiff competition nearby. Once home to a Greek taverna, the space has been transformed into a contemporary, beamed dining room in back and moody, happy hour-friendly lounge in front. Miles of wood lend a masculine feel; comfortable booths, tables with leather chairs and low lighting make you all but forget its mall locale. The menu is ocean-heavy, yet we remain ambivalent about dishes like the sesame-almond-crusted tilapia, save the fact that they’re responsibly harvested. More appealing options include the crunchy shrimp with zippy rémoulade; smoky, cedar-planked whitefish with espresso barbecue sauce; and chipotle-glazed salmon with shrimp pozole. More allure comes in the form of broiled or steamed whole lobster and lobster tails, delivered at a surprisingly affordable price. The fairly priced wine list, compiled by Alpana Singh, is likable in its own right.
