 THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Restaurant Zoe Restaurant Review: Restaurant Zoë made a major splash when it opened, and the sophisticated restaurant continues to delight. Hardwood floors and Craftsman-inspired furniture create a cozy ambience, while floor-to-ceiling windows offer front row views of bustling Second Avenue. Personalized service makes this a good choice for a romantic date or an evening with friends. The ever-changing menu focuses on bold, seasonal ingredients, and fresh local produce. Among our favorites is the smoky, grilled romaine salad dressed with smoked bacon crumbles, apples and Roquefort dressing. Another not-to-be-missed starter is the albacore sashimi drizzled with horseradish vinaigrette and served with a delicate potato salad in a pool of cucumber coulis. For dinner, we suggest the hanger steak; the well-marbled meat is cold-smoked in-house and grilled rare, unless otherwise requested, then served with a mound of mashed potatoes, mushroom ragoût, and roasted root vegetables. In the mood for fish? Order the grilled wild salmon filet served on a bed of Puy lentils to experience the best of the Northwest. The wine list is comprehensive and nicely balanced. |
