THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Ri Ra Restaurant Review:

Ri Ra is Providence's clear winner in the upscale-pub sweepstakes. The waitstaff says it serves the type of creative Irish bistro fare you’d find in, say, Dublin’s chic Temple Bar neighborhood. For us, it seems like most other Irish-American pub grub. But that's not such a bad thing, whether you sample the corned beef and cabbage, boxty or Guinness stew alongside your selection of five types of fresh-cut chips. Ri Ra is nothing if not a blast for the singles, co-workers and even families who gather in this bar, literally shipped over from Ireland and reassembled in Rhode Island (check out the stained glass behind the bar --- it dates from the 1600s). Portions are enormous and prices are reasonable. And it's hard not to leave happy --- although you may not remember exactly what you ate.
