The River Room Restaurant Restaurant Review: Lunch offerings at The River Room Restaurant include a Caesar salmon salad, as well as burgers, sandwiches and soup. The dinner menu expands to feature steaks, chops and seafood, with standouts such as a citrus-y salmon filet and shrimp scampi linguine. Also of note, there's a Friday night fish fry and thick slices of prime rib on Saturdays. Enjoy a cocktail or a glass of wine in the nautical-themed main dining room with its large glass windows overlooking the Fox River. Or grab a mixed drink (there's a full bar menu for both the restaurant and pub) or ice cold beer and lighter fare at the River Pub Lounge, also located in the hotel. During warm weather, there's seating on the patio overlooking the water and live entertainment on weekends. Another plus, it's also home port of Foxy Lady Cruises, the city's only public and private cruise yacht. |
