Freshly baked pita bread accompanies every meal. Mezze platters (both meat and vegetarian) are the best way to enjoy samples of favorites such as hummus, baba ghanouj and grape leaves. We recommend the lamb kebabs and shwarma sandwiches, and vegetarians may choose from many options such as spinach turnovers, salads and majadra, a comforting blend of lentils and caramelized onions. The non-greasy falafel is one of the best in town. Top everything off with a smoothie, Turkish coffee, local microbrew, or a glass of lusty Lebanese beer.
