| Robert's is a welcome respite from the touristy Route 1 strip near the Kittery Outlet Malls. With a view of Spinney Creek, the source of some of the oysters you might slurp down at the raw bar, the restaurant sports a sleek stainless steel bar, a good stop before moving on to more family-friendly dining upstairs or downstairs. Try some updated New England fare such as grilled tuna with white beans and leeks, or Yankee pot roast and fried chicken. A full lobster clam bake is offered as well as grilled salmon. All the fried favorites are available, including crisp fish ‘n’ chips. We also recommend the lobster stew followed by three decadent mini whoopie pies or a blueberry crumble. |
