Robin's Restaurant Restaurant Review

: This longtime favorite of both locals and visitors proposes an eclectic menu that offers something for everyone, whether they’re looking for osso buco or Malaysian chicken in a light cream curry sauce. Owner Shanny Covey and executive chef Brett Blute are committed to local farmers and fresh ingredients, as well as sustainable concepts such as Meatless Mondays. Depending on what our taste buds are in the mood for, we might go with the stuffed cabbage rolls with wild mushrooms and house-made sauerkraut, a bayou Benedict with tasso ham and Creole hollandaise, or a simple flatiron steak topped with flash-fried onion rings. Desserts typically celebrate the season, such as a Meyer lemon tart with fresh blueberries. Check the monthly prix-fixe for themed dinners ranging from Valentine’s Day to explorations of Oaxacan and Portuguese cuisine. The wine list is notable for a restaurant of this size, and we’re glad to see more unique by-the-glass options.

With a yoga-retreat vibe, Namaste spirit, and a self-proclaimed focus on authentic, sustainable and wholesome food, Robin's Restaurant is worth checking out if you’re in Cambria. While the menu is creative, with something for every taste, the food is hit and miss with some tasty items and some disappointing.
