The Rock Wood-Fired Kitchen, Seattle, WA

The Rock Wood-Fired Kitchen Restaurant Review

: Rock ‘n’ roll fans will like the heavy metal and guitar décor at this locally-owned chain. Conveniently located near Seattle Center, The Rock is where pizzas are dished up in a family-friendly atmosphere. Choose from an extensive number of toppings to create your own pie, or select from the menu's established combos. The list features pizzas with names such as “Stairway to Heaven,” “California Dreamin’” and “Crazy Train.” Burgers, salads and sandwiches are available to round out the menu. When it comes to dessert, kids of all ages will enjoy the giant cookie baked in an iron skillet and topped with ice cream. Looking for a bargain? The all-you-can-eat lunch buffet will please anyone who likes to pile their plate high. Microbrews (beer is brewed in house), "Rocktails," buckets of booze, and Jell-O Boosters set the tone for a lively happy hour. Service is professional. Insider's tip: This is a good destination after a tour of the nearby EMP Museum.
