 Familiar, likeable food laced with trendy ideas---“grapenutts,” goat cheese-wrapped grapes rolled in crushed pistachios, for example---is the order of the day at this hot-spot. In other words, expect to find the likes of a Kobe burger with melted Brie, fried shallots and Medjool date aïoli alongside truffle fries. But we’re particularly partial to the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes. Desserts are somewhat ho-hum (crème brûlée, chocolate mousse, profiteroles). The thing is, Rockit rocks a hip crowd, so it is as much about the scene as it is the cuisine. Check out the second floor---the late-night and early morning crowd is a sight.
