 This original location of Rocklands doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside you’ll find a crowd gnawing on its crunchy ribs and awesome casual grub. Seating is very limited, so expect to wait unless you drop by at an off hour. The menu offers smoky ribs in whole, half or quarter slabs and several interesting sides. We think the quarter slab of ribs with the Texas corn pudding is a satisfying lunch, but for a change of pace, you may prefer chicken, fish or vegetables grilled to order or even a grilled leg of lamb sandwich. There aren’t many desserts---but there are plenty of bottled hot sauces you can purchase.
