Rose Garden Tea Room Restaurant Review

: Located adjacent to the three-acre rose garden at the Huntington Library & Botanical Gardens, this is an idyllic setting to enjoy tea, pastries and finger sandwiches. Diners can enjoy a buffet-style display of traditional sandwiches like smoked salmon with cream cheese and cucumber, egg salad and albacore tuna, as well as assorted salads, pasta salad, fruit and pastries. There is an unlimited basket of scones for the table as well. Though it remains an essential part of the Huntington experience, the tea room can get rather congested on busy weekends, so best to plan accordingly. The grounds close at 4:30 p.m., and the last tea seating is 3:30 p.m.
