THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Rosewood Grille & Lobster House Restaurant Review:
Like its adjoining sister property Alan Albert's, this legendary seafood emporium attracts steak and lobster aficionados who pack both restaurants despite the extravagant tab. Decorated to resemble a clipper ship, Rosewood Grille has long been known for its classy dining, good service and very, very good lobsters by the pound. Preceded by a salad, the jumbo crustaceans with claws are steamed whole and accompanied by drawn butter and potatoes. Among appetizers is the appealing scampi Villa Venice in garlic butter. Sautéed sea bass is served atop garlic spinach. Savory steaks include a rib-eye with Burgundy sauce and onion confetti. The notable wine list and refreshing strawberries au Cointreau over ice cream or a specialty drink such as the apple strudel---Bacardi rum, apple juice, cinnamon schnapps served hot with a float of ice cream---complement the hearty fare. Children five and older are welcome to dine at Rosewood Grille & Lobster House.
