Rosine's Restaurant Review: Family-run Rosine’s has been around for 25-plus years and has a large and loyal local following. Almost everything on the menu comes in one size only --- XXL. This swims against the tide of trendy concepts and tiny plates, at times more successfully than others. To the restaurant's credit, all salad dressings and sauces are made in-house, and half-size and mini portions of some dishes are available. The tome of a diner-style menu has definite highs and lows --- steer clear of the fiesta salad with its oily tortilla bowl and overabundance of refried beans. Pasta selections, however, are good; the marinara sauce is tasty and we like the house-made meatballs. Desserts are best shared. Service is friendly and consistently cheerful. |
