Roy's Restaurant Review: This venue is the first---but now not the only---restaurant in Florida by the Hawaiian chain started by---and starring---Roy Yamaguchi. The menu abounds in Hawaiian fusion dishes like Roy's original Hawaiian blackened island ahi and the wood-grilled Szechuan-spiced baby-back pork ribs. Of course, there is also the coconut-crusted tiger shrimp and crawfish pot stickers. Entrées from the sea include hibachi-style grilled salmon and Roy's classic macadamia nut-crusted mahi mahi, a favorite. Land-side, the menu features slow-braised and charbroiled short ribs and braised new-fashioned misoyaki-glazed pork pot roast. The most popular dessert is Roy's Melting Hot Chocolate Soufflé.
