| Ruby’s Diners started right here at this original location, which sits at the end of Balboa Pier, with scenic views of Newport’s hills, Newport Pier and Catalina Island. Kids and adults alike delight in the house favorite: an old-fashioned burger with a side of fries and a cherry Coke or old-fashioned chocolate shake. There’s also more contemporary and healthy fare, like salads and sandwiches, along with hot dogs, soups and chili if you're not in the mood for burgers. Although the chain is only a quarter of a century old, all of the 40 or so locations maintain the retro feeling and down-home service found here at the original. |
