Sometimes a coffeehouse is about so much more than the coffee. Looking for the ultimate hipster coffee and Internet hangout? You’ll think you’ve found Nirvana at Rue de la Course, or simply “Rue” as regulars call it. Many customers seem to stay here studying or working on laptops all day long. Rue de la Course may have lost some window real estate with a relocation, but fortunately---or unfortunately, depending upon your taste---this space is just as gritty and marinated in cigarette smoke as before. If you are looking for a contemporary, airy coffee café, this is not the place for you. But if you like watching eccentric characters drinking good old New Orleans-blend coffee and downing pastries, come on in and stay a while.
