THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sabor Restaurant Review:
The adobe-style walls are covered with masks and folk crafts that could be from exotic Central American villages or a Zuni reservation, but the cuisine borrows elements from Louisiana, El Salvador, the Caribbean and Brazil---all with a touch of whimsy that could only happen in L.A. Appetizers include a baby cactus salad, while entrées run from lamb chops in a mulato chile-and-Roquefort sauce to a terrific mesquite-grilled salmon enhanced with molasses, ginger, sesame and lime. Sabors globetrotting wine list is modestly priced.
