 This Spanish restaurant’s wine bar offers more than 160 Spanish selections available by the bottle, and more than a dozen by the glass; a wine club allows regulars to buy cases at a good price. The menu emphasizes hot and cold classic Spanish tapas as well as some California-inspired dishes and entrées, including the paella Valenciana. Among the small plates, don't miss the grilled padrone peppers---piquillo peppers stuffed with seafood mousse; grilled, skewered calamari with seaweed salad; hearty albondigas (meatballs) with garlic mashed potatoes; and roasted dates filled with Spanish cheese and wrapped in bacon. Tuesdays through Fridays, Sabor offers a happy hour with two-for-one tapas and $4 glasses of wine and sangría before 6:30 p.m.
