THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Saigon Vietnamese Cuisine Restaurant Review:
This small, family-run Vietnamese restaurant serves delicious food at rock-bottom prices. Set in two small rooms, the soothing Vietnamese pop plays softly and a pot of jasmine tea is set on the table within seconds of your arrival. Go at lunch and youll find artists, office workers and many folks from the nearby public television station. Later, its families and couples of all ilk. The veggie rolls, fresh spring rolls and Vietnamese salad rich with cabbage and topped with roasted peanuts are all great starters. The menu lists some 40-plus entrées, but many are a variation on a theme, such as four entrées with lemongrass including a splendid tofu lemongrass dish. Lunch offers a number of $4 specials and no matter the meal, you should end yours with a cup of strong Vietnamese coffee. Vegetarians will be pleased with the number of options and only those who want beer or glass of wine will be disappointed in whats one of he best bargain restaurants in the entire city.
