SaigonESE Restaurant Review: This side-street eatery welcomes guests with a smiling statue of Buddha, a fish tank and a cool, casual décor. An extensive Vietnamese menu takes diners through many aspects of the country's cooking. We always head to the goi cuon (soft summer rolls), but selecting the SaigonESE sample plate with six different selections provides a better overview. We can recommend the traditional South Vietnamese soup with cubed pineapple and shrimp, the grilled pork on noodles, and the caramel fish. The possibilities go on and on, so even the most finicky eater will find something of delight.
