| Just across the bridge from Lakewood, Salmon Dave’s is nestled in the charming Old Detroit Road area of Rocky River, where pedestrians and locals looking for a relaxing meal abound. The menu blends Asian and Pacific Northwest cuisines, and as the name implies, there’s an emphasis on seafood, including a topnotch cedar-planked salmon. No one will complain about a lack of choice where the remainder of the menu is concerned, though: steaks, chops and a few poultry dishes will suit any appetite. Try the crispy fried oysters or the avocado blue crab rolls to start. Then, if you're not in the mood for salmon, order the surf ‘n’ turf served with a coldwater lobster tail with Champagne cream and a char-grilled tenderloin with a Cabernet demi-glace. Sip a wine chosen from the generous selection and be sure to save room for dessert. |
