Salvatore's Restaurant Review: Salvatore’s is a lovely, long-running restaurant on the ground floor of the Meridian tower. It caters to a serious, food-loving crowd that returns for the topnotch service and authentic Italian fare. The menu, which never changes but doesn’t fail to please, represents many regions around the Italian boot. Dishes such as bowtie pasta with asparagus and lobster, osso buco with risotto and veal scaloppine with prosciutto all contribute to Salvatore’s consistent success. We also like the black mussels in a garlicky tomato broth, the mushroom-eggplant ravioli and the homemade meatball appetizer. |
