This location of Sam Snead's appeals to the downtown crowd---a bit more upscale, but the menu is the same. American cuisine flourishes, with center cut pork chops, grilled chicken, filet mignon and fish specials. You can make a meal noshing on the calorie-laden appetizers: Parmesan-coated fried Brie, hot cheese and spinach dip, bruschetta, and hearty soups, like Sam's chili---no beans, chopped onions and cheddar cheese. We noticed a lot of downtowners opted for the lo-cal seared rare tuna sashimi or simple shrimp cocktail. Nearly everyone orders the chocolate sack, an eight-inch chocolate sack filled with sponge cake and white chocolate mousse, served with raspberry purée.
