THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sammy Chu's Restaurant Review: Sacramento's leading restaurateur goes where many have gone before---but with much more hubbub than any of his predecessors. The restaurant's opening earned attention from every foodie and scenester in the city. However, hype aside, we find little that sets this place apart from the pack. It serves contemporary Asian fusion fare: chicken-coconut milk soup from Thailand, salt and pepper shrimp from China, and ahi sashimi from Hawaii. It only truly distinguishes itself by its beverage selection, offering half a dozen different kinds of saké as well as a few unusual import beers and several specialty teas.
